Full-time awake overnight position in a step-down residential treatment program for adults with psychiatric disabilities.  Current schedule is 6 PM to
6 AM Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with 4 hours to be arranged.

Responsibilities include teaching life skills, managing symptoms, accessing community resources, providing clinical documentation, assisting residents in reaching their full potential.  This position also participates in facility cooking, cleaning, review of documentation and general maintenance duties.  

Three (3) years of relevant training, education and experience required; must possess Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA) designation or the ability to obtain a QMHA within 30 days of hire.

Full-time positions at Hugo Hills Secure Residential Treatment Facility in a specialized residential treatment program for adults with psychiatric disabilities.  Responsibilities include teaching life skills, managing symptoms, accessing community resources, providing clinical documentation, and assisting residents with sleep hygiene.  Also participates in facility cooking, cleaning and general maintenance, with regular, assigned housekeeping duties.   Overnight shift performs a considerable amount of paperwork while residents sleep, including chart audits, filing and special assignments. 

Two positions are open:

1.      Swing shift position is 4 10-hour shifts,  Noon to 10:00 PM Wednesday through  Saturday

2.      Awake overnight shift involves 4 10-hour shifts, 9:30 PM to 7:30 AM, Saturday    through Tuesday.

Minimum of one (1) year relevant experience required.  Three (3) years of relevant training, education and experience preferred; QMHA–eligible, or Bachelor’s degree in a human service field a plus – and may qualify for higher pay rate.   Some computer skills required.  Must pass DHS background check and DMV check.  Valid OR drivers license required.  Hiring rate $10.00 – $12.33 per hour or more, depending on qualifications.  Excellent benefits.  Positions are  open until filled.  Preference will be given to applications received by 9/27/2010.

Weekend Cook – Hugo Hills Secure Residential Treatment Facility           Posted 9/3/10

The part-time cook prepares and organizes meals for mental health clients in a residential setting.  Promotes social, dietary and hygiene skills.  Participates in keeping the facility and its residents safe, secure, and clean.  Current schedule is two 10-hour shifts per week on Saturday and Sunday.

Responsibilities include:

Prepares meals for residents of the facility in appropriate quantity;

Directs activities of one or more workers who assist in preparing and serving meals;

Applies food handling rules (preparation and storage);

Applies health and sanitation standards;

Maintains consistent quality at reasonable cost;

Assists in managing inventories and supplies.

One (1) year experience in a similar setting preferred.  Additional experience may qualify for higher pay rate.  Must obtain Oregon Food Handler’s Card within 30 days of beginning work.  Must pass DHS background check and DMV check.  Hiring rate $9.20 per hour or more, depending on qualifications.  Pro-rated benefits.  Position is open until filled.  Preference will be given to applications received by 9/17/10.

MASTER’S LEVEL MENTAL HEALTH CLINICIAN                  Posted 8/25/2010                 

 

Master’s level clinician required for dynamic case management program providing clinical expertise and guidance to staff and clients.   Clinician performs diagnostic assessments, and develops individual treatment plans in conjunction with the client and members of the treatment team.  Clinicians assist in the implementation of individual treatment plans, which may include assistance with employment, housing, accessing health care, etc.  Services are provided in the office and in the client’s natural environment (home, place of employment etc.).

Case management program provides evidence based Strengths-Based Case Management, Assertive Community Treatment and transitional services.  Clinicians work closed with our evidenced based Supported Employment program, Adult Outpatient Services, Crisis Resolution Center and residential providers.  Candidate must be able to work independently and flexibly, under general supervision.  

Full-time position available.  A Master’s degree in behavioral health science is required, licensure or ability to gain licensure within 6 months is strongly preferred.

Full-time position in our non-secure residential treatment program for adults with psychiatric disabilities.  The Clinical Supervisor provides clinical recovery-focused services to clients with mental illness and substance abuse problems, if present.  Performs diagnostic assessments and develops treatment plans in conjunction with the client and other individuals as indicated.  Provides clinical oversight, direction and education to program staff.  Works in collaboration with the program administrator.

Candidate must possess a Master’s degree in psychology or a related field, an understanding of co-occurring disorders, and at least two years’ experience to meet qualifications under Medicaid for Clinical Supervisor.  Professional licensure (LCSW, LMFT, LPC or clinical psychologist) a plus.

Full-time Project Manager oversees set-up, installation and implementation of the Mental Health Practice Management/Electronic Health Record system for ~150 users across multiple sites in Grants Pass.   Facilitates execution of the project plan.  Serves as liaison to software and hardware vendors and Systems Administrator.  Coordinates activities of the implementation task force.  Coordinates and monitors training activities.  Communicates project status and issues to Executive Team and agency.  Provides guidance to team(s).  Works effectively and collaboratively within the agency and with other professionals, community partners and local, state and federal stakeholders.  Ensures program compliance with both funding and licensing requirements.  Adheres to and enforces agency policies and procedures regarding attendance, job performance and professional conduct. 

Software system conversion experience required.  Mental Health Practice Management/MIS and Electronic Health Record set-up experience preferred.  UNI/CARE Pro-Filer™ experience a plus.  Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of current best practices for children and adults, especially those models which emphasize strengths, resilience and recovery.  Additionally, the candidate should have experience with program implementation, development and evaluation.

The position requires a graduate degree in a behavioral science. Three (3) years of relevant training, education and experience required; must possess Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA) designation or the ability to obtain a QMHA within 30 days of hire.
